Spam prevention tips: 10 blog comments you should deny

Aquick post for today - here's a list of 10 comments that you may not realise are really posted by spammers. They appear on so many blogs that they are definitely spam.
  1. This is my first time posting so I wanted to take a moment and say hello to everyone! - There are lots of comments like this - much of the time, the commenter says "hi" on several different posts and also says they are glad to join the "forum". I guess some spammers can't even be bothered to adjust their message to suit the medium.
  2. I've been looking around (your site name) and actually am impressed by the exceptional content material here. I work the nightshift at my job and it really gets boring. I've been coming here for the past couple nights and reading. I simply needed to let you know that I've been enjoying what I've seen and I look ahead to reading more. - Actually not too bad, but this one pops up on too many blogs to be legit. That, and its obvious spammy link in the URL field, pushes this comment into the spam queue.
  3. In 1959 phentermine first received approval from the FDA as an appetite suppressing drug. Phentermine hydrochloride then became available in the early 1970s. (etc...) - Hmm, what does that have to do with any of my posts? Not much!
  4. Hopefully, my personal owner will give me treats on that day. I cannot wait! - Quite an amusing one, this. Was the writer pretending to be a dog?
  5. Hello! kebbabe interesting kebbabe site! - Possibly an attempt to bypass anti-spam controls that look for comments that use the same phrases as known spammers. The result is that the comment is just gibberish, although it was quite an interesting choice of words.
  6. Must admit that you are one of the best bloggers I ever saw. Thanks for posting this informative and useful article. - Hey, that's nice! Oh wait, who posted it? A user by the name of "porno". Spam.
  7. In truth, immediately i did understand it. But after re-reading I think i comprehend - Wow, thanks for that! I have faith in your ability to write legitimate comments... that don't even make sense. Immediately you understood it? Then you re-read and you now comprehend? I thought you understood the first time...
  8. it was very interesting to read. I want to quote your post in my blog. It can? And you et an account on Twitter? - Another nonsense comment, with typos galore - "It can?" should be "I can?", or really, "Can I?" Then, we have "et an account", which should be "get an account"... either way, that sentence doesn't make much sense.
  9. Hello friends, I am looking astral projection techniques, if possible easy and with rapid results. Would any of you know any or could recommend a trustworthy website? Thanks! - Yet more junk that has nothing to do with my site.
  10. I like that you think. Thank you for share very - This person didn't even bother to finish their comment. Sigh.
